Okay, I saw them selling this online and I think it is just too fugly to be true.

wtf are those? it looks like someone fell asleep tummy-side down while tanning and their legs got burned! =(
These were on the Chanel F/W 2008 runway this year, which is probably why a lot of people are wearing them.
