yup! back in the states. hello cold cold cold california.

i slept on the plane. i still managed to sleep last night.

today's plan- buy my secret santa present and waffle xmas get-together tonight!

Last Saturday, we went to this chocolate shop in Taiwan that sells Dark Chocolate cakes and ice cream. The decor is so beautiful and creative in this place. All the chocolates are imported from Belgium - yum, Belgium chocolate!!!

Anyways, they let us taste their ice cream and they were yummy! I especailly love the dark chocolate plus cherry rum....FABULOUS! We eventually bought the classic chocolate cake + dark chocolate ice cream combination. All for NT$900 (almost USD$30). Yeah, kinda pricey for Taiwan.

Ice cream was super hard and our spoons were tiny, so it took five of us an hour to eat a pint of ice cream. Yup, kinda ridiculous. But...it was delicious!

As for the cake, it smelled like play-doh. Yup, that thing we used to play with when we were little. I must admit, it even tasted like the smell. After a while, I got used to the smell and enjoyed the rest of my cake. They must have put something in that cake because the next day, I still want more! Yeah, I want more of that play-doh smelling cake! Weird...what the hell did they put in that thing?

Can't wait to go back for its Hazelnut Chocolate Cake - I heard it's the most popular cake there!

Okay, I saw them selling this online and I think it is just too fugly to be true.

Like seriously...this shit is ugly and does not make you look skinny. What were they thinking?

I'm not that desperate to look thin.

Right now, corset is super hot here in Taiwan. I've seen so many commercials for it. Every bra shop's window displays one or two.

And...my friend bought me one. Yup, just out of nowhere. She told me she wants to drop by my house and give me one. It is only for the upper torso and molds my stomach and waist. Oh, and it also pushes up on your boobs because some girls really need that extra lift. Haha.

I put it on and it was a TIGHT fit. My waist is more visible though. (Note: Many guys in Taiwan are into waistlines and calves...so you see many girls wanting to make their tummy and legs slimmer.)

Here is a funny fact. My friend is trying to get more skinny so she wears it to lose weight. How? I mean, it only sculpts your figure. She said because it pushes in on her tummy and makes her not as hungry.

Seriously? No, seriously?!?!

But yeah, random Taiwan report again.

I just had a great breakfast and must write about it.

There's this organic store near my house. I usually don't go there because it's out of the way for me in the morning when I go to work. Anyways, I bought an organic vegetable-fruit hand roll today and some soy wheat drink.

Whole Wheat roll with the following inside:

• Apples
• Lettuce
• Seaweed wrap
• Seasoning
• Carrots
• Raisins

It was heaven...I can eat this everyday!

I've been hitting the gym at least twice a week for the last four weeks. I've been keeping the amount of food I eat at the same level (I snuck in some late night snacks and McDonald french fries), and guess what happened?

103.4 lbs

However, I still feel the same. My clothes are still fitting. I guess I'm just losing the bad stuff. Burn fat, burn!!!

For the girls. You are all familiar with threading, I assume. Well, imagine threading your entire face. Yeah, painful. But, it is healthy for your skin and will make it look brighter. Anyways, I've been getting that done once every month. First time was really painful...then it got a lot better the second time around.

I love how smooth my face feels afterwards though.

Haha...I saw some of the comments left by friends in the last post. Ok guys, you all need to  know, I'm losing weight, but I'm eating! Oh yes, I still eat. In fact, three meals a day! I get cranky if I don't have food in my system.

But why am I losing weight? Well, mainly because I'm not eating as much as before. A lot of bad habits were cut due to a lot of reasons - high cholestrol, my liver not doing well, and my duodenal ulcer...blah blah blah.

Don't get me wrong, I still eat McDonald's and KFC once or twice a month because I love FRIES!!! I just don't eat all the fine dining shit from college days...or get gelato late at night with friends...or eat popcorn for midnight snack...etc. Oh, and remember how I love spicy food and I usually get it really spicy on food ordered? Now, when they ask, I just say "just a little bit." Hahahaha...yeah, bit change there too.

So don't worry! I'm eating. I'm not being one of those skinny bitches. Oh, and do know...I exercise! Yes, that makes a difference too.

Last post was mainly me expressing how different it is to live in Taiwan ~ and how ridiculous some things are.
